Welcome to my page. This has largely been my creation for my own convenience and general web accessibility. How you got here, I'll never know. Generally we have my resume (fascinating reading in and of itself), and a whole whack of resources for finding things on the web.

Of particular interest are the links for work related areas of interest, in particular, search engines, finding people, pharmaceutical information, and abstract retrieval.

Some of the listings are of my devising or modification but in truth the more professional, obscure, or more interesting links must be credited to Ilse Mozga, a more than talented lady who was responsible for the web site at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Clarke Division, and worked in the Farrar Library at that site. Both the site and library are no longer, but Ms. Mozga is still at CAMH.

Recreationally, my interests include biking, running, playing the tenor saxophone (still in the 'dying duck' phase of learning) and the martial arts. I received my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do from Kwan Jae Nim Veronica DeSantos of the DeSantos Martial Arts Studio in Toronto, Ontario in June of 1997 at the age of 47and my second degree in November of 1999. She is a wonderful and tireless teacher. Our style is a rich blend reflecting Kwon Jae Nim's eclectic background. Our school practices the ITF forms using the low Shotokan stances, kobudo for the higher belts, and both points style and WTF style sparring. We now have 7 active Black Belts over the age of 45 so I have a rather vested interest in the experiences of the silver set in gaining their Black Belts at an advanced age.
